Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Mobile Appster handles information when you use Hippo Flippo or visit its website.
Information handled directly by us
Hippo Flippo does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or other personal information. Game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Advertising and tracking (Google AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within Hippo Flippo. To serve ads, prevent fraud, limit ad repetition, and measure ad performance, AdMob collects and processes data from your device, including:
- Unique device identifiers (such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or Identifier for Vendors (IDFV))
- IP address and coarse location data (such as city or country)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, views, and clicks)
- App performance, diagnostic logs, and crash data related to ad rendering
Personalisation and App Tracking Transparency
Hippo Flippo uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. When you open the app, you will be prompted to choose whether to allow tracking:
- If you allow tracking: Google AdMob may use your device’s IDFA to serve personalized advertisements tailored to your interests.
- If you ask the app not to track: AdMob will only serve non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads still use contextual information, coarse location, and basic identifiers for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and security.
You can grant, revoke, or change your tracking preferences at any time in your iOS settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
To learn more about how Google collects and processes data, please visit Google’s Privacy & Terms Page.
Purchases and the App Store
If you download or purchase the app through Apple's Store, Apple processes information associated with that transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. Mobile Appster does not receive your full payment details.
Support enquiries
If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device model and description of the issue. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot and maintain appropriate business records. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or to meet legal obligations.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please do not include personal information in a support request submitted by or on behalf of a child beyond what is needed to resolve the issue.
Sharing and third-party services
We do not sell personal information. Information handled in connection with the app may be processed by trusted service providers—specifically Google (for ad serving) and our email/hosting providers (for support requests)—solely to deliver those services and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information you have provided to us, including rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to its use. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app, website, ad configuration, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will show when the latest version took effect.
